Teamwork Makes The Dream Work

Launching a game publishing company is both fun, and a hell of a lotta work!

The only way to pull it off is to have numerous amazing people who are passionate about making it all come together!

Apogee is lucky to have such people, like Jeron Moore, who's a California film school grad with impeccable talents in trailer creation, audio/visual production, and music direction. He is with us for the second time, now as our Lead Producer.

Jeron previously worked for us during the mid-2000's and played a big role in all the music production for the original Prey. For Prey, he also put together the most-viewed video game trailer of 2006, the "Prey Super Trailer", which was also one of the first video game trailers to incorporate live action footage (big milestone!).

He’s also responsible for lifting the veil on Duke Nukem Forever back in 2007 w/ the DNF Teaser -- both the Prey and DNF videos produced by Jeron featured awesome tracks by renowned composer Jeremy Soule (Prey, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Guild Wars, Harry Potter, Dungeon Siege, Supreme Commander).

Jeron currently works on numerous Apogee projects to coordinate artistic talent, provide creative direction, and produce Hollywood-caliber soundtracks, tapping numerous professional musicians, a majority of whom are working on a game project for the first time (that means new, fresh, exciting!). He also oversees the production of our weekly Jon St. John "Apogee Now” updates and created our new ApogeeEnt.com website alongside our other new team member, Devon Johnson.

Devon manages our social media and community platforms on Discord, Facebook and Twitter. He also contributes to our website and weekly “Apogee Now” scripts.

I should definitely mention my business partner, Terry Nagy, who handles tons of the managerial and administrative aspects of the company, allowing me to focus more on the creative side.

There are many other people behind the scenes that I'll mention over the coming months.

Bottom line, a strong team is EVERYTHING.

Anyway, before I conclude, some kinda really big news:

You can now play our first original release, Residual, on Steam! We finally released a demo. Residual is an AMAZINGLY engaging, non-violent game full of puzzles, lore, crafting and exploration by OrangePixel, a one-man developer in the Netherlands. Pascal has become somewhat famous in the indie scene for his weekly vlogs, which you can check out on his YouTube channel.

Please check out the demo and wishlist Pascal’s game!

And make sure you're following Apogee's Twitter to see Jon St. John's (the voice of Duke Nukem himself) weekly one-minute video updates!

Final note: We're working on several remasters of our classic ‘90s games and two have already been released:

Secret Agent HD -- Upgraded graphics, animations, music, level builder and a whole new fourth episode!

Crystal Caves HD -- Upgraded graphics, animations, level builder and a whole new fourth episode!
